The story began in 2020
When I discovered the transformative tool of Human Design, it sparked a brand new chapter in my life. By 2022, after 7 successful years in Digital Marketing and Communications with a National Governing Body in the UK, I transitioned to full-time self-employment. Eek! A step into the unknown. Between 2022 and 2024, I conducted HUNDREDS of readings, working with everyone from humble community leaders to seven-figure business owners, and from nurses and police officers to those just starting their journey in self-employment. What became clear was that the most common challenge people faced related to work—whether it was feeling lost between jobs or projects, or having fallen out of love with a well-established career. Despite their success in various organisations, many felt as if they were wearing a mask, disconnected from their true selves or unable to show their true colours in a workplace. This insight ignited a powerful idea: what if I harnessed my skills in Human Design and astrology to empower these individuals? By focusing on their natural energy and strengths rather than expectations, I helped them rediscover their confidence and set the stage for their new careers or career development. And you know what? It worked!
And so in 2025, that pink flamingo spirit was born…
A place for career focussed people to reconnect with themselves. A place for HR directors to understand their colleagues. A place for employers to discover the people they actually need in the roles they have advertised, minus the BS.
Because the way I see it…
Is that if everyone used Human Design to better understand themselves, their skills and strengths, we would have a much more productive workforce, and a much happier, more content, peaceful workplace too.

So what’s pink flamingo spirit? It’s having the awareness and the confidence to just be yourself. In the workplace, as well as at home. We need authenticity in business now more than ever. Are you ready?
About the founder
Hello, and welcome, my name is Rebecca Lovatt and I started That Pink Flamingo Spirit after seeing a huge gap in the careers and recuitment. As we’re on the subject of human design, I’m a 1/4 Ego Manifestor for those of you who are interested.
TPFS didn’t always have this name. It started with something dull and boring and corporate, I think it was like, ‘Aligned Business’ or something super… dull. Then as I was building the site and writing about authenticity, I felt that pit in the bottom of my stomach. ‘Becky, if you’re asking people to be authentic in their work and business, you need to lead by example.’
So I ditched the boring brown background. Ditched the ‘uptight language. And played with the animal kingdom (I’m a nature girl at heart) to represent what I wanted this space to be about. Shining bright in your career, no matter how bright that might be. And so… That Pink Flamingo Spirit was born.
I spent my first 10 years of work in Corporate world. I worked in Legal Offices and eventually went on to spend a good chunk of my employment life in Marketing and Comms for a National Governing Body for Sport. I loved it. But it didn’t give me the opportunity to be truly myself. I spent the next 3 years or so teaching yoga, delving into philosophy, and working with a little known modality called Human Design. And since 2023 I’ve delivered hundreds of readings to people across the world, largely related to their career or their job in some way.
And now, I’m ready to go public. Be seen, show my feathers outside of the spiritual world and stepping back into Corporate world, with a new perspective and new message.
Forget the values peices. It’s the individuals that make a company.
And when we are all individually confident, empowered, and in jobs that satisfy us physically, emotionally, spiritually… that’s when the business world changes. Productivity doesn’t need to be measured when you’re doing a job you’re devoted to. That gives you something fulfilling, that gives you purpose.
And That Pink Flamingo Spirit is here to fill that gap and get you to that place. Where work is a passion, is a purpose, is an extention of yourself, not something that drains you…
